When considering treatment options, choosing a program that fits your needs is key. Our subacute inpatient mental health program may suit you if:

You have a diagnosed mental health condition such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other mood disorders.
You believe it’d be helpful to live in a safe, stable environment, away from the stress and triggers affecting your mental health.
You are open to receiving treatment and making necessary changes to improve your condition.
You're facing challenges with substance misuse, such as drugs or alcohol, and believe our dual diagnosis care could offer valuable support.

When a Higher Level of Care May Be Necessary

Our program may not be the right fit if:

You're currently in danger of harming yourself or others, including recent suicide attempts or displaying aggressive behaviors outside of your condition.
You have pending legal matters, such as being court-ordered to go to treatment.
You have a physical condition that demands increased medical attention, such as wounds, drains, tubes, dialysis, or any other condition that needs ongoing supervision in a hospital setting.

How long is inpatient rehab?

How long is your mental health rehab program?

How long it takes to complete treatment depends on the person’s behavioral health needs and substance use history. Most clients finish medical detox and inpatient rehab programs in 15–25 days.

Will I be forced to stay in inpatient rehab?

Leaving treatment early often leads to relapse and overdose, so we encourage clients to complete their entire treatment plans. However, as long as they are not a danger to themself or others, clients may leave rehab, even against medical advice, at any time.

Does inpatient rehab work?

Yes, many people began their lifelong recovery with inpatient addiction treatment. While there is no “cure” for substance use disorder, recovery is possible. We consider inpatient rehabilitation successful based on improvements to our client’s physical and mental health, employment or educational status, relapse time, safety and legal status, and relationships with loved ones.

How can I pay for inpatient rehab?

Insurance may cover some or all of your inpatient rehab costs. Orlando Recovery Center can also work with clients without insurance to develop a private pay option.

Will I lose my job if I go to rehab?

The law offers protections if you require time off from work for mental health reasons. Under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), you can take a leave of absence from work and keep your job while seeking mental health treatment from a healthcare provider. However, it’s important to understand that not everyone is eligible for FMLA benefits.

Will I lose my kids if I go to rehab?

Mental health conditions can affect your ability to care for your children. While there are no guarantees regarding child custody outcomes, seeking mental health treatment and achieving successful recovery can improve your chances of keeping custody.

I received exceptional care from Orlando Recovery Center. For those invested in recovery, it is the perfect environment to focus fully on your mental health. Johana was my primary therapist and she was calm, non-judgmental and caring. However, she also held me accountable in ways that I needed coming back into sobriety.
